Happy Sunday to our Woori Youth! 

Hope that everyone is safe and healthy. Weather-wise, it is definitely summer! Even though we are social distancing, please make sure to get outside and bask in the sunshine for 10-15 minutes a day for some vitamin D! This week’s sermon is from the Gospel of John 8:12-20. Please read it with your family have had an open discussion as to the meaning of Jesus being THE Light of the world. Continue to stay safe and steadfast in your prayers for all those affected by this pandemic. There is only one person that can provide a cure. In Him, we place our faith and trust that His will be done! 

How do you light up a dark place? For me, sometimes it’s with a flashlight. How does a flashlight operate? Well, first, you need a case, second a light bulb, and lastly, batteries to power the bulb. This way of lighting up a dark room can be used to light up our spiritual life. Whenever we feel the darkness starting to overcome us, first and foremost, grasp onto God, the handle of our flashlight. But in order to let the light shine on our darkness, we must recharge the batteries inside with the Words of God written in the Bible. Only then, can we have the power to turn on the flashlight and let Jesus, the Light of the world, illuminate any AND all darkness that we must overcome? Do not walk, stumble, or fall in the darkness! Grasp God read His Words, and let Jesus light the way to everlasting life! Once you have tasted the seen the light, you will never hunger for the uncertainty of the dark. May The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit bless us with His light as we travel through life on our journey back to Him.  Stay safe another week and let us continue in our fervent prayers for an end to this pandemic. Hoping and praying for the ability to worship together with one heart and one voice soon at Papa’s house!
