말보다 말씀! 빚보다 빛!

Happy 4th of July to our Woori Youth! Hoping that all of you have had a great week staying busy and safe. Some disappointing news concerning the resurgence of the coronavirus. But remember that it is always darkest before the dawn and to every dark cloud, there is a silver lining. If there is anything that Jesus has taught us that we should always remember is that hope can never be destroyed! As long as we have hope in our God, He will NEVER let us down!  This week’s sermon is from the Gospel of John 7:10-52. Please take some time to read and discuss what “Living Water” is and why we need to partake of it in abundance. Let us hope that His glorious plan comes to fruition as we hope and conquer this pandemic with one voice and members of one family under Jesus our Savior. Continue to practice safe distancing and have a great weekend of worship, thanks, and hoping for our Lord’s will to be done. 

I wrote to you all before about what is the one thing that all scientists agree that must be in abundance for life to exist anywhere in the universe? H2O of course! Those 2 molecules of Hydrogen paired with 1 molecule of Oxygen team up to provide a resource that life cannot exist without! Just like we need those 3 molecules to exist physically, we NEED the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to exist eternally! The Holy Trinity(Father, Son, Holy Spirit) provides us daily with the Water of Life necessary for us to conquer death as Jesus did on the cross. 

Ask your parents how much the water bill is during the summer. It’s pretty darn high! And since we cannot survive without it, we will pay whatever it costs to have it. When we read and listen to the Words of Our God, He is giving us Living Water that our spiritual body so desperately needs. And do you know how much God charges us for this Living Agua? 

$00000000! In fact, Jesus has already paid for it for infinity! During these hot summer months, make sure you drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated, and feast on the Water of Life to hydrate your spiritual body as well! Hoping and praying that God will allow this pandemic to pass as quickly as it has appeared. Keep vigilant and see you all soon at Papa’s house!
