말보다 말씀! 빚보다 빛!

Happy start of spring break to our Woori Youth! Although this spring break brings uncertainty, I hope you all get to enjoy some downtime to rest, sleep, and read the Bible! This week’s discussion will focus on the gospel of John 4:43-54, the faith of an Official. 

Please take 5 minutes to read and reflect on these verses. See you all on Sunday! 

An 11 letter word has stricken fear, anxiety, and panic among the population of the world as of late. 

CORONAVIRUS! 

As cases slowly but surely pop up close to us, I won’t lie, it is starting to get me quacking in my shoes as well! But, you know what, just as Saint Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

This is the perfect time to “renew” and intensify our relationship with God. Whatever trouble comes our way, we should never lose sight that God is and always will be there for us, to protect us, and to listen to our prayers and requests. We all need God more than ever. Not just for our community, but for our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering from this virus. No need to pray and ask God to take care of us, we should pray more for others that are in need of our prayers. Please pray that God gives divine inspiration to the biologists in finding a cure, to set up the logistics in delivering the cure, and the ability to help those who need it first. Have faith that God will provide us with everything we need. 

Remember, God didn’t create the universe and us, only to destroy it! And in this world of plenty that God has given us to eat, there are reasons some should not be eaten. Just as God commanded Adam and Eve to not eat of the tree in the middle of the garden of Eden. Just because something looks good doesn’t mean we have to eat it. Have FAITH that everything is done according to His will. We don’t always know what His will is. Have a great weekend and see you at Papa’s house.
