Happy Friday to our Woori Church Youth! Hope y’all had another great week of school, life, and fellowship with our One and only Father who has given us so much and asked so little in return from each of us! This week we will discuss Acts of the Apostles chapter 2. How can we make a leap to become evangelists. Please make some time to pre read this chapter. Have a great weekend and see you at Papa’s house on Sunday!

Do y’all remember what faith is? It is the belief in the assurance that Jesus will save us and allow us to be with Him eternally. Saint James also teaches us that faith without works is DEAD! (James 2:26)
How do we keep our faith alive, not only alive, but thriving? We have many options! We can obey the Commandments that Jesus gave us; loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul and loving others as ourselves. Another way, it’s a little bit harder, is to spread the word of God to others, to be an evangelist.. Hold on a minute! Jesus wants us to be preachers? What? Well...yes.. But, evangelizing is not just about sitting someone down and preaching the Bible. Evangelism can be as simple as telling someone: “God bless you,” “May Jesus be give you strength,” “May the Holy Spirit guide you.” When we say anything that acknowledges our faith in God to others, we are in essence, spreading our faith in Jesus to others. We are evangelizing! It’s that simple. Do not be afraid to express your faith to others. It’s a little weird at first, but like everything else in our lives, with a little practice, it becomes second nature to us. Remember, God made each of us special. He broke the mold when He made each of us.

There is no one in the world as unique as us! We have to learn to stop comparing ourselves to others and learn to be content with what we have. When we compare ourselves to others, we start to envy, we start to hate others because of all the things they have. Who are we to think we know what we need. God has given each of us according to our need and according to His will! Do not be possessed by your possessions! Having more will not make you happier. Be content and just give thanks to God for what you have. I have seen so many people dislike each other because of the church they attend. Does it matter if you are catholic, presbyterian, methodist, baptist, lutheran, protestant? Loving God and doing His will on earth is not about what church or religion you belong to, but it should only be about our relationship with Him! I hope that you, the future of God’s kingdom, can strive for a better relationship with Jesus and to not be afraid to acknowledge Him in front of others. Be proud to be a CHRISTIAN so that we can LIVE ETERNALLY!
