Happy Saturday to our Woori Youth!
Hope this was a great week for you guys and for those who started school this week, it’s been the most unique beginning to a school year, but we as God’s greatest creation, have been blessed with His grace to adapt to changes no matter how difficult the situations might be. Could be worse, it’s so hot out there now that maybe online classes in the cool air-conditioned comfort of your home are the way to go!
This week’s reading is the continuing of the Gospel of John 10:1-10. Please read and discuss with your family. God’s words and teachings are best understood through sharing with each other. Have a great weekend and have FAITH and HOPE that our Creator’s will be done in all things.
What does someone entering through a door mean compared to entering through a window? When someone enters through a door, to me, it means that the person is part of my family or an invited guest. It’s someone that I know and am familiar with. But, who is someone that enters through a window or other entrances besides a door that is normally used for entrance and exit? Unless you have lost your keys and entering through a window, most others that enter this way are those who have not been invited and are trying to enter your home to cause you to harm or to steal from you. This week, Jesus teaches us about this difference when it comes to who we allow entering into our spiritual homes. We know who Jesus is right?? Right?? If we know who Jesus is, we gladly open our door and say, “ Please come in!” We know and have faith that Jesus is our Creator, Father, and Savior. He loves us and only wants to give us all that is good! But there are those who try to enter through an unlocked window because when they knock at our door, we instantly realize that they want to enter and bring is harm. The only way they can enter is through unconventional means and disguises. They want to trick us i to allowing them into our hearts and minds to confuse and contaminate us with evil.
So please be on your guard to know and realize who is for us and who is against us. Our great God was, is, and will always be FOR us. That’s why our God is so GREAT! And reading His words(The Bible) teaches us what and who to be on guard against. So have the confidence to always allow Jesus into our hearts and minds so that we can take advantage of every gift and blessing He endows upon us because He is our Shepherd who’s the voice we know and who has laid down His life to save all of us! Unwaveringly praying for the day when we can meet at Papa’s house to worship in one voice. Have a safe week, future Christian leaders!
